Spread the Warmth

For two weeks, the members of Family Promise and volunteers from the school gathered to donate fabrics and assemble special blankets for families for the upcoming winter.

With a unified effort, we created a total of 30+ blankets over a short period of time. We want to spread warmth from not only these blankets but from our hearts.

Volunteers from our Lambert High School chapter helped gather many different items donated in bulk as well as in the act of transporting them. Beforehand, we collected 100+ laundry detergents in 2 weeks for the gala.

    Family Promise is an inspiring organization that uplifts homeless families, providing them with not just shelter but also hope and a path toward stability. It allows me to directly involve myself and help people that are less fortunate. My involvement in the blanket drive has also allowed me to see firsthand the impact a small gesture can make, offering warmth and comfort to those in need. It's a been a privilege experience to contribute to this cause.

    Family Promise is a great charity to be in, every dollar or activity is contributed to helping other lives, which is truly a real change and a big deal. To me, Family promise is great, offering not only to shelters but to people in need and guiding families that need to rebuild their lives. Volunteering with Family promise makes so many fun and memorable experiences. The team is great as well as they are genuine about their work and efforts and it is truly incredible to be apart of it.
